An uneven or patchy finish is usually caused by applying coats that are too thin or too thick, or

by not allowing enough time to dry between layers. It can also happen with lighter or

highly pigmented shades that need additional coverage. For best results, apply 2-3 thin, even

coats, and let each layer fully dry before applying the next. Using Red Aspen Base Coat can also

help create a smoother surface for a more even color application.
