What is AHA vs. BHA? Why did Red Aspen develop an AHA exfoliator?Updated 19 days ago

Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) and Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs) are both chemical exfoliants, but they work a little differently. AHAs, like glycolic acid, are water-soluble and work on the skin’s surface to smooth texture, brighten dullness, and support anti-aging benefits. BHAs, like salicylic acid, are oil-soluble and dive deeper into pores to target excess oil and blemishes. Red Aspen chose an AHA exfoliator to focus on enhancing radiance, improving firmness, and addressing visible signs of aging.
